For another year, our family was blessed to spend another Thanksgiving together. We have begun to cherish this time every year as the children get older and become busier.
As is our tradition, each of the children prepared a dish.
Jessica made pecan pies
Christopher made pineapple-cheese casserole
Rebecca prepared the turkey

Daniel made sweet potato casserole
Amanda made peanut butter and chocolate fudge

Elizabeth made pumpkin pie

Samuel made green bean casserole

Timothy made broccoli and cheese casserole

Rachel made pea salad

Joanna made cornbread dressing

Naomi made Watergate salad

Ashlyn cut the cranberry sauce

Our feast!!!
Several of us Teros were fighting colds on Thanksgiving day, but the Lord blessed us with a nice, relaxed day at home and we had a wonderfully sweet time as we reflected God’s blessings on our family throughout this year. God is so good!!!!!

~*~*~
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100

October 2013 Recap

Wow! Was October a busy and wonderful month!!! We visited four different churches, all in which the Lord allowed us to share in song.
October 9 we took our monthly trip to the local Council on Aging and Grace Nursing Home. We enjoyed our time of visiting with the elderly, singing, and David sharing from Scripture.

October 9-13 we joined Grace Baptist Church for their annual Missions’ Conference. What a blessing it was to meet six different missionaries and their families. Every night, we thoroughly enjoyed fellowshipping with the church members and missionaries. On Sunday night, the final night, we gathered around for a wonderful time of playing instruments and singing.

October 19, we joined the Church of the Nazarene in Baton Rouge for a time of fellowship and sharing in song. Originally, this was supposed to be a picnic-fellowship, but due to rain, it was moved to the church. It was a blessing to meet new people and share.

October 20-23 we joined Bethel Baptist Church in Kentwood for their revival. Our good friend, Bro. Larry, preached the services and we shared in song a couple of nights.

We have been thoroughly enjoying the lovely fall weather that God has blessed us with. One day, the girls took a walk down the road and stopped at the end for an impromptu photo-shoot.
